ClashSight ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our Clash of Clans companion mobile application.

2.1 Account Information

• Player Tag (publicly available Clash of Clans identifier)
• Device ID (used for account linking and notification preferences)

Note: Your API Token is never stored. It's only used temporarily during account verification to prove ownership.

2.2 Automatically Collected Information

• Device identifier (generated unique ID for notification registration)
• Firebase Cloud Messaging token (for push notifications)

2.3 Information You Provide

• Notification preferences (which notifications you want to receive)
• Search queries (player tags, clan tags)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Verify your Clash of Clans account
• Send push notifications about wars, attacks, and events
• Store your notification preferences
• Provide search functionality for players and clans
• Improve app performance and features

4. Data Storage & Security

• All data is stored on secure servers
• API tokens are encrypted and used only for verification
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes

5. Third-Party Services

5.1 Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google)

• Used to send push notifications
• Google's privacy policy applies to Firebase services

5.2 Clash of Clans API

• Your API token is used only during verification and never stored

6. Data Retention

• Account linking data: Stored until you unlink your account
• Notification preferences: Stored until you change them or unlink your account
• FCM tokens: Refreshed periodically by Firebase

When you unlink your account, your device ID and notification preferences are deleted. Player tags and clan tags are public information and may remain cached.

7. User Rights

You can:

• Unlink your account in app settings (removes device ID from our servers)
• Control notification preferences in app settings

8. Children's Privacy

This app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy in the app and on our website.
